Description
Description: Haitian Blue Organic is grown off the same type of plant as the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. This coffee comes from one of the oldest coops in Haiti, Coopacvod, which strictly grows organic and shade-grown coffee. The coop's President, Francis Dubois, has innovatively used local river water to power the plant, recycling the water to sustain local water sources and create sustainable employment for Haitian citizens.
Origin Story: Nestled in the lush landscapes of Haiti, the Coopacvod cooperative is a beacon of sustainable coffee farming. By harnessing the power of local rivers and maintaining organic practices, this cooperative not only produces high-quality coffee but also supports the local community through sustainable development and employment opportunities.
